EDUCATOR

Being in the classroom is one of the most joyful experiences in my life, both as a student and a teacher. I envision academia as a world of possibility, where the goal is wonder, and the means uncensored exploration. My classes are always about discovery within the individuality of the student, always about process rather than result. I believe in creating a space to try, fail, try again, and fail again, but doing so daringly. This of course, requires a strong ensemble, determination, and a lot of labor.

Throughout my years as an instructor I have taught courses in:

- Acting: Intro, Scene Study, Acting for the Camera, Physical Theatre.

- Theatre Studies: Gender, Sexuality, and Theatre; Adaptation.

- Specialized Skills: Movement, Devised Performance.

Currently, I am an instructor at Michigan State University, where I have taught and designed a variety of courses, both in person and online.

As part of my pedagogical activity, I co-created a podcast for actors with a series of exercises, warm-ups, and techniques for a wide variety of situation. You can listen to it following the link above or wherever you get your podcasts!
